south-east corner of the
walled garden at Alderley
Park

Garden entrance arch: early-mid C19 for Sir J T Stanley. Partly
ashlar buff sandstone, partly orange brick. Welsh slate roof. Square
in plan. North front has a tetrastyle Doric porch with a triangular
pediment. This leads into a brick barrel-vaulted passage and a simple
semi-circular headed entrance towards the former house.
