Granary. C17 or early C18. 2 storeys, timberframed and
weatherboarded with dovecote in roof space and half-hipped steep,
old red tile roof continued down over timber frame and
weatherboarded addition on N half of W side. Narrow central bay
with wide storage bays on each side. Line of central posts on
lower floor each on interrupted plate on sill walls. Wide bays
supported at mid span. Stepped jowled posts with long curved
braces. Interior of upper floor plastered on laths. Clasped-
purlin roof in floored loft reached by central hatch. Small
openings under eaves, with cross battens. Part of group at
Clintons manor.
