Dated 1906. A substantial Arts and Crafts house set back behind swept drive.
Two storeys and attic, roughcast with timber framing to first floor left and
tile work chequer decoration. A compact composition with gabled brick shallow
buttressed to right, the roof line swept down to left over porch, and off centre
gable break of shallower projection. Steep pitch Westmoreland slate roofs.
Roughcast slightly battered chimney stacks with diamond tile panels. Overhanging
eaves. Lattice casement windows. Large canted lattice casement bay to left
hand, the floor above timber framed and jettied over battered ground floor
to side with carved bracket to corner. The entrance to porch is also flanked
by shallow buttresses and has a slightly bowed stucco lintel with date and
blind lunette above with tile chequerwork. The shallower gabled break adjoining
has a slightly projecting window with stained glass and small flat roof.
Above on the first floor the window has a chequerwork lunette reflecting that
of porch. Weatherboarding to the apex of the gable.
