House. C18. Remodelled early C19. Cement rendered with 2 parallel old tile
hipped roofs. Stacks to right and left and to right and centrally on
ridge behind. 2 storeys and attic. North front. 3 bays with early C19
2 storey one bay addition to right. All windows sashes with glazing bars.
Central bay projects slightly. Central door and early C19 bowed, timber and
glazed porch with french casements and fluted frieze with paterae. Coped
parapet. East front. One bay and stack to right. 2 storey early C19 projecting
block to left with segmental bow rising to parapet. 3 large sashes on each
floor. Raised band at cornice level below parapet. South front. 2 storeys and 5
bays. Central, probably mid C19, hipped canted bay rising to parapet. 2 blank
bays to right and 2 bays to left with cut down ground floor windows. Interior.
Fireplace in ground floor room to east has attenuated fluted columns.Good cornice.
Fireplace in principal ground floor room to south has paired attenuated fluted
columns and central wedgewood plaque. Other good fireplaces and cornices of
early C19 date in first floor rooms. 2 storey, 3 bay mid C19 addition to west is
of no special interest.
