House. 1907, by Mervyn Macartney. Red brick with orange dressings, raised
quoins, stone plinth and deep wooden modillion eaves cornice to hipped tile
roof. Caroline style. 2 storeys and attic with 4 hipped dormers. 2:5:2 bays;
glazing bar sash windows in exposed wooden boxes. Ground floor Doric
colonnade, with triangular pedimented centrepiece and panelled door,
linking projecting wings. Projecting brick forecourt walls to north about
one metre high ramped up to panelled quadrant corners, with ball finials
