Large house now 3. Circa 1720 with extensive later additions. Red brick;
pantiled roof; 2 gable-end brick chimneys. Main part:- 2 storeys; 5
first-floor windows. Late C19 brick porch with glazed roof and windows in
side walls is flanked by contemporary canted bay windows. First-floor
windows have sashes with glazing bars in moulded architraves. Coved eaves
cornice to front; modillion cornice to rear. Shaped gables. Later C18
extension to left: 3 storeys; 2 first-floor windows with glazing bars
under flat gauged brick arches. Late C19 ground-floor bay and wood/glass
conservatory. Coved eaves cornice. Hipped roof C20(?) crenellated tower
added to rear of roof encases C18 chimney. C18 doorcase with broken pedi-
ment and decorated fanlight to rear. Early C20 (Edwardian) extension to
right: 2 storeys with mid C20 additions to North. Interior (not inspected
during the resurvey) is noted as having fine decorative plasterwork of the
early C20 with festoons and panelling and a staircase with turned balusters.
