Ye Olde Cottage

GV II

Cottage. Early C18 or earlier. Built of stone rubble with
thatched roof with off central brick chimneystack. Mainly 2
storeys with 1 storey addition to left hand side. 2:4 windows.
Eyebrow dormers with triple casements. Ground floor has 2 C19
casements with older cambered head linings above and an
original stone mullioned window. Left hand addition has fixed
6-pane window and triple leaded light casement in the side
elevation. Mid C19 doorcase with tented canopy and trelliswork
at side. 2 panelled door.
