Farmhouse. Mid-C18 possibly incorporating parts of an earlier building; later
additions and alterations. Painted roughly coursed slate-stone slate hung to left
end, graded slate roof, half-hipped to left. 3-unit plan. 2 storeys. 1:1:1 windows,
narrow centre section slightly projecting, C19 casements directly below eaves and
to lower left with 16-paned glazing bar sash to lower right. Gabled porch to centre
with small window to front and doorway to side has 4-panel inner door with glazed
panel to top. Rendered ridge stack immediately to left and external end stack with
slate drips to right. 2-storey full-length catslide outshut to rear with stepped
external lateral stack to left on back wall. Single-storey lean-to attached to
left end of main range. Interior: slate floor in central hall partly replaced by
C19 clay tiles. Oak-studded light partition wall to right. Infilled inglenook fire-
places. Roof structure looks C18.
