Lighthouse. 1887, by William Tregarthen Douglass. Granite
ashlar; cast-iron cupola. Circular plan to tapering 3-stage
tower. Square-headed cross windows. Cast-iron parapet rail and
lattice light with curved conical roof. Attached single-storey
house of 5-window range has 4 sash windows with glazing bars
and central porch with doors in returns and fixed 8-pane
casement to front; projecting cornice to flat roof. Lights
modernized 1967.
