GODSHILL

SZ5281 SCHOOL ROAD
1353-0/7/181 School House

GV II

Former Headmaster's house, now part of school. Probably built
c1826 in Gothic style. Built of Isle of Wight coursed stone
rubble with ashlar quoins and slate roof. 1 1/2 storeys; 3
windows. 3 gabled dormers with kneelers, C20 windows but in
original keyed surrounds. Ground floor windows have drip
moulding. Central porch having gable with kneelers, lancet
windows, obtusely pointed arch and Worsley Crest above. Right
side elevation has gable end with kneelers and 2 double
mullioned windows with dripmoulds, one blocked.
