Cottage. Inscribed "1514 restored 1884 by A.L.T. (Alfred Lord
Tennyson) Built of stone rubble with ironstone to front
elevation and red brick dressings. Tiled roof with 3 brick
chimneystacks and 3 gabled dormers. 2 storeys 4 windows.
Casements with terracotta surrounds with vine leaf motifs. 2
gabled doorcases. Little appears to remain of the earlier
farmhouse but the cottage is an interesting example of the
Tennyson estate style.
