House. C17. Brick; plain tile roof; brick composite stack with
ornamental cap to rear, brick end stack. 2-storeys, attic and
cellar; 3-window range: mullion lights with metal casements
and glazing bars to left, mullion and transom lights to right;
shouldered drip courses; projecting central porch bay has
mullion light, over plank door with moulded jambs and lintel;
attic light in gable. Wing to rear: gable has mullion and
transom window to ground and 1st floors, with attic window
over; pentice to right. INTERIOR: ogee stop chamfered ceiling
beams with deep chamfers; 3 splayed stone fireplaces with oak
lintels (2 with ogee stop chamfers); 4 panel and plank doors;
early C19 dogleg stick baluster staircase; studded plank door
with cockspur strap hinges in moulded oak case, under 2-storey
porch bay with moulded oak door frame.
