Small warehouse, now shops. c.1860-70, altered. Red brick in
Flemish bond, with sandstone dressings and slate roof.
Rectangular plan on corner site. Italian palazzo style. Four
storeys and four bays with pilastered ground floor, sill-bands to
both upper floors, prominent moulded cornice and brick parapet
with moulded coping; ground floor has two C20 shop windows,
recessed panelled door to right, former corner doorway to left
(bricked up); upper floors have sashed windows without glazing
bars, all with impost bands, those at 1st floor round-headed
and those above with stilted segmental heads, all with
keystones and hoodmoulds. Small corner chimneys. Left return
to Copperas Street, six bays in matching style (above bricked-up
ground floor). Forms group with former Wholesale Fish Market
on opposite side of street (q.v.).
