1354-0/6/86 Brewhouse to South of Elm Farmhouse

Dairy and brewhouse. C18. Built of stone rubble with red brick
dressings. Roof now covered in corrugated iron with brick
chimney. 1 1/2 storey. Front has C18 fixed casement with
leaded lights and wide cambered entrance with double ledged
and braced doors. Gables have casement windows with brick
surrounds. Probably originally a dairy and brewhouse with
sleeping accommodation for farm hands over. Later grain bins
were inserted and the ground floor used for stabling.
