Terrace houses. c.1736 row evidently of one build. Almost certainly original stock brick fronts, slate roofs. 4 storeys. Each front 3 windows wide. Architraved doorway to left. Flush framed sash windows, a few with glazing bars, under flat gauged arches. Brick plat bands between storeys. Original internal features include the following: No. 79 has staircase with carved and cut strings, turned balusters and moulded handrail, pilasters in passage and damaged egg and dart and box cornices. No. 80 has original staircase although the balustrade has been boxed-in, and dentil cornice to 1st floor front room. No. 81 has staircase with cut and carved strings and turned balusters extending from 1st floor up. The return flank of No. 81 to Livonia Street has stone tablet reset from south side of the street inscribed and dated "Berwick Street 1736" with the Cavendish-Bentinck cypher surmounted by a ducal coronet.
