1353-0/3/105 The Dairy Cottage, Sheat Manor

GV II

Cottage, formerly sub-divided. c1675 altered mid C19. Built of
Isle of Wight stone rubble. Roof is mainly tiled but the 4
lower courses are of slate. Brick chimneystack. 2 storeys and
attics in gable ends; 4 windows. End elevation fronting road
has 2 blocked oval windows to attic, tumbling in and kneelers
to gable end and 2 mid C19 sashes with verticals only and
horns. Deep plinth. 4 C19 casements to side elevation and 2
cambered doors. Originally a service building to Sheat Manor.
