School. c1870. Coursed and roughly squared rubble in small
blocks with ashlar dressings and Welsh slate roof.
Symmetrically plannned, single-storeyed with gabled wings each
side, each with its own gabled porch, and a central gable also
with entrance. Central gable has lean-to porch with heavy
angle buttresses and squat trefoiled windows in relieving
arch. Recessed arched panel with small rose window in gable
apex. Stone copings and wrought-iron finial. Two paired lancet
windows each side of this central gable. Separately roofed
gabled porches in angle of wings each side, with heavy
moulding to doorways. High triple traceried windows in each
wing. Angle buttresses and a short buttress beneath the
window.
