2 shops with living accommodation above. No 63 is a C16 or
earlier timber-framed building altered and extended in early
C18 and further altered in mid C19. Brown stock brick with red
brick dressings. Hipped tiled roof. 3 storeys 3 windows.
Moulded wooden eaves cornice. 3 windows except for 1st floor
central window which has central curved blank. Mid C19 window
without glazing bars but with horns. Cast-iron shop sign
bracket attached to centre 1st floor. Ground floor to No 63A
has mid C19 stucco, grooved to imitate masonry, with French
window and to No 63 mid C19 shopfront with fascia having Greek
Key design, pilasters and shopfront.
Interior has open fireplace with wooden bressumer and exposed
beams.
