Pair of symmetrical houses. 1840s. Stucco with slate roof. 3
storeys with basement, 3 bays to each house, central bays
recessed and have 2nd floor. 1st and 2nd floor sill
courses; top cornices (outer bays with frieze). Angles have
rusticated quoin strips. Windows have architraves and are
sashed, most with glazing bars. Ground floor windows have
segmental-head architraves with keys, those to central
bays have tripartite sashes. 1st floor windows have keys and
are alternately round-headed with consoled segmental
pediments and straight-headed with consoled triangular
pediments; the round headed windows have sashes with
roundels in upper glazing bars. 2nd floor round-headed
windows have casements with 2 round-headed lights, and upper
roundel. Round-headed entrances have rusticated surrounds
and Doric porches with antefixae. Rear facade is similar,
with Venetian window. Decorative area railings. Balustraded
parapet. No.6 has 1st bay 2-storey canted bay window.
