Rectory, now private house. Probably mid to later C18,
extended in early C19; altered. Brown brick in Flemish bond,
with addition in English garden wall band, slate roof (hipped
on the wing). Double-depth plan at right-angles to street with
added crosswing at south end including entrance front facing
garden. Three and 2 storeys to the same height. The earlier
3-storey 3-window main range, facing west, has quoins to the
left corner, 16-pane sashed windows at ground and 1st floors
and low 8-pane sashes at 2nd floor, all these with exposed
boxes, except at ground floor to the right which has an added
5-sided flat-roofed bay with small sashed windows which have
margin panes (coupled at the front). To the right is the
projecting canted end of the added 2-storey wing, which has
one tall 15-pane sash at ground floor of this end and a 9-pane
sash above, both segmental-headed, and a 3-window south front
with similar fenestration (except for a blind window in the
centre at 1st floor), and a square flat-roofed porch to the
right which has a round-headed doorway with wooden Roman Doric
doorcase, panelled door, and fanlight with radiating glazing
bars. Chimneys at both gables of the earlier portion, and
another to the wing. Interior not inspected.
