Shop and office. c1780. Brick with ashlar dressings; parapeted
roof. Double-depth plan. Georgian style. 3 storeys; 3-window
range. Painted ground floor with ashlar platt band over; plain
parapet and coped gables. Elliptical-headed carriage entrance
to right of contemporary shop front with entrance and flanking
bow windows, panelled pilaster strips and entablature breaking
forward on consoles to entrance, overlight with glazing bars
in oval cobweb pattern to half-glazed door up steps;
small-paned windows. Upper windows have sills, and rubbed
brick flat arches, over 12-pane sashes to 1st floor and 9-pane
sashes to 2nd floor. Wrought-iron sign bracket over entrance.
Return has entrance in carriageway.
