former Junction Works at Paradise

Lead works, unoccupied and conversion in progress at time of
survey. Probably early to mid C19. Red brick, roof concealed.
Tapeziform plan with triangular east end. Four storeys,
11-window facade to the wharf, with segmental-headed windows
and some loading doorways; parapet. West end under 3 gables
and probably 6 windows but only 4 visible (left end covered by
large advertising hoardings); outer gables flat-topped.
Interior: cast-iron columns, timber floors. Forms group with
former stable block to south east (q.v.).
