Farmhouse. Mid C18 with later alterations. Red brick in
Flemish bond with steep hipped plain tiled roof. Tall stack
behind ridge to right and second stack on wing to rear. Main
range with service wing to rear. Two and a half storeys;
regular three-window front, 6, 8 and 16-pane hornless sashes
with plastered flat arches and keyblocks. Central panelled
door with overlight. Left return rendered with 12-pane
hornless sash to ground. Right return also with some sash
windows, others blocked, the rear wing with casements.
Interior with good contemporary joinery: panelled cupboards.
one with fluted pilaster surrounds and dentil cornice;
open-well stair from ground to attic, 2 turned balusters to
each tread and ramped rail. Moulded ceiling beams. Evidence of
blocked inglenook.
