Early to mid C19. Hammer dressed stone. South elevation rendered. Pitched stone
slate roof. Coped gables. Moulded eaves cornice and blocking course. 2 ashlar
stacks. 2 storeys. South elevation: Door with plain surround entablature and
pediment. Five bays of windows some with ashes). Continuous sill band to first
floor. East elevation: Four panelled door with fanlight and full entablature.
Vertical window to landing. Venetian window to attic. Formerly the 'British
Queen' public house.
