Cottage. Late C17 with later additions and alterations. Timber framed
with painted brick infill and rebuilding on rendered plinth; machine
tile roof. 3-unit baffle-entry plan. one storey and attic. Framing:
vertical posts to front with later light horizontal members. Some original
cross members to left gable end and to rear on left. Queen-strut end
truss to left has V-struts from collar. C19 casements to ground floor,
one to left and 3 to right of plank door under C20 gabled hood to left
of centre. 3 casements to right of door all have leaded lights, those
to left and right segmental-headed. Gabled eaves dormer with leaded
casement directly above centre window. Red brick ridge stack immediately
above entrance and integral end stack to right. C19 painted brick lean-
to to left gable end has 2-light cast-iron latticed casement.
