Mid C16 timber-framed and plastered building on an L shaped plan with wings
to the north-east and north-west. There are some C18 alterations and replastering
of circa 1777. Renovated. Two storeys and attics. The upper storey is
jettied on the north-east side of the north-west wing. Casement windows,
some original leaded casements remain. Roof tiled, half hipped on the north-east
wing and half hipped with a small gable on the south-west side. There is
an original chimney stack with 4 attached diagonal shafts. (RCHM 7).
