Public house. C17 remodelled in c.1919. Situated on the angle of the road.
Ironstone ashlar. Slate roof. Brick ridge stack, L-plan, 2 storeys plus attic.
2-window range. Entrance on right has panelled/glazed door and moulded wood
frame. To right a metal casement window with stone flat arch. To left two
3-light and a 7-light similar windows. First floor has a 3-light metal casement
in wood frame with wood lintel and a 5-light similar window with stone flat
arch. Right gable has metal casements with lead cames and crown glass. The south
or left gable is noted as having an ancient stone based moulded stack and in the
ground floor a late Cl7 two-light wood mullioned and transomed window. Rear
rebuilt in brick. Interior not inspected.
