(formerly listed
as Manor Farmhouse)

GV II

Detached House, former manor farmhouse. c.1700, very much rebuilt
and re-roofed, with some altered architectural details in the 1970's.
Coursed, squared rubble walls. Thatch roof. L-plan, with unusual
diagonal joining wall in the angle between the 2 ranges, with an
original door-position. Possible Unit System. 2 storeys with attics.
South range, east wall, two 2-light mullions, bull's eye, doorway,
bull's eye, two 2-light mullions. Original features: the stone
bull's eye windows, in situ, door-position, continuous label raised
over front door. The mullions, concrete 1970's, and note the number
of lights per window much altered, (1968 Survey). East range, 2
4-light mullions with separate labels. Eastern window, only has
original stonework. Doorway in angle, late Cl7, depressed arch head,
with a label over. Bull's eye (original) above this. Both doorways
mentioned have C20 2-leaf doors, with vertical glass lights.
