Circa 1840-50. Formerly semi-detached pair. 3 storeys stucco faced main
block with lower slightly recessed 3 storey wings. Pilaster strips with
incised panels flanking wings and main block. Low pitch hipped slate
roof, 2 windows to main block, 1 each to wings where they are narrower.
The wings and 2nd floor centre have recessed sash windows, later glazing,
drip moulds over. Narrow canted superimposed bay windows to ground and
1st floor of new block, casements, plate glass lights, moulded cornices,
plain aprons. Enclosed stuccoed porches project from ground floor of
wings. Flanking pilasters with incised panels supporting entablature.
Round headed side lights. Recessed modern doors but original rectan-
gular fanlights with marginal glazing.

The Hollies Guest House, Nos 1 to 4 (consec) Albert Terrace, Barrington
Villa and Garden Wall of Barrington Villa form a group.
