1847 (date of building lease granted by the Borough to the Trustees of the
Bridport Savings Bank.) Ashlar. Slate roof. 3 storeys. Moulded plinth.
Strings at 1st and 2nd floor level. Moulded eaves cornice. Blocking course.
Rusticated quoins. 3 ranges of sashes, those on ground floor with moulded
architraves and cornices on consoles, those on 1st floor with Ionic pilasters
taking full entablatures, those on 2nd floor with moulded architraves. Door
with 4 moulded panels and fanlight in doorway with attached Tuscan columns
and entablature.

Nos 8 to 36 (even) form a group with the United Reformed and Methodist Church.
