Public house. C17, refronted C19. Left gable has whitewashed brick
to ground floor and timber frame with plaster infill above. Front
and right gable of red brick. Half-hipped thatch roof, brick chimney
between left-hand bays, another external to right gable. 1½ storeys,
3 bays. Barred wooden casements. Irregular ground floor has lean-to to
right of centre with slate roof and double doors. First floor has 3
eaves-line dormers with catslide slate roofs, 2-light casement to
left and 3-light casements in right-hand bays. C20 extensions to rear.
