7/122 Lambrook Farmhouse
II*
Detached Farmhouse. C16 core, with much later rebuilding and
refenestration. Rubble-stone walls with stone gable-copings. Slate
roof. Brick stacks at left and right hand gables. 2 storeys. 4 windows.
2-light wooden casements with glazing-bars. Wooden lintels. Wooden
cills. Front door, right of centre, plank-and-muntin, studded, C20.
Concreted jambs. Interior: unheated central room with rear corridor.
Left hand room: compartmented ceiling with 6 main compartments, each
subdivided into 4, beams with roll and hollow mouldings. Open
fireplace with stone jambs lintel replaced. C17 panelling with recess
panels. Right hand room with deep-chamfered ceiling-beams, crudely
stopped.
