Barn. Circa mid to late C19. Unrendered cob on stone rubble footings, slate roof
hipped at ends carried down over front as a pent roof on timber brackets.
Lofted barn. The front faces the farmyard, the rear backs on to a field with the
ground sloping sharply away. Front elevation partly obscured by corrugated iron
lean-to adjoining at left. Large paired doors on front at right with projecting cob
buttressed jambs. On either side of the doorway square loft openings.
The barn has group value with Higher Rubhay Farmhouse and is a conspicuous landscape
feature.
