Chest tomb. Early C19. Limestone. Flat top with moulded edge, moulded base,
plain quarter balusters, inscriptions to all sides, paired north and south, with
verses to south: "By a fierce blow my thread of life was broke ...". To William
Hathway, 1814 and other members of the family. One of a pair of monuments to the
Hathway family, the other (q.v.) being about 3 metres north east.
