eagles and attached
walls 15 metres
west of Mapperton
House

GV II*

Two Gate-Piers. C18. Ashlar, with semi-circular niches to west.
Niches have round shell-heads and pendant boss. Moulded cornices.
Each gate-pier has a lead eagle on top. Low ashlar wall, to north
and south, with C19 spear-headed twisted iron railings.
