Public house. C17. Timber frame exposed in right-hand gable end
and one brace to right of front, remainder whitewashed roughcast.
Half-hipped thatch roof, brick stack to right of centre with
rebuilt base of thin bricks and lobby entry. One-and-a-half
storeys, three bays. Left-hand bay has board door to left with
two barred windows to right. Centre bay has C20 canted bay window
to left and four panelled door under wooden hood on cut brackets
with small casement to right. Right-hand bay blank. Small paired
barred casement in thatch above centre bay. Right gable has canted
bay window to ground floor and barred casement above. Tiled lean-to
to left. Tiled brick and weatherboarded extension at right-angles
to rear.
