House. c1700 with early C19 alterations. Brick, ashlar dressings, hipped
tile roof, gable end stacks. Two storeys on cellars with attic, lit from
rear, moulded stone cornice, chamfered quoins; four windows: flush framed
8-pane sashes under rubbed brick heads with keystones; ground floor: central
entrance flat canopy with dentilled cornice supported on consoles; eight
raised and fielded panel door. Interior: early C18 well staircase with
turned balusters, remodelled early C19; dining room (front left) has early
C18 large rectangular panelling, fireplace flanked by alcoves with painted
shell heads and fluted pilasters, broken pediment over door; entrance hall
panelled up to half of height, semi-circular headed entry to stair hall at
rear.
