Farmhouse. C18 with later alterations. Squared sandstone plinth, brick
and Welsh slate roof with brick end stacks. Roughly rectangular plan with
garden front to south-south-east. Cellar and two storeys with attic.
South elevation has three windows, glazing bar sashes with cambered heads,
except central window which has semi-circular head and interlaced glazing
bars. Upper windows have smaller panes. Central glazed 6-panel door behind
early C20 latticed and gabled porch. Brick eaves cornice. Sandstone lean-to
to right-hand end has two mid-C20 casements with cambered heads. Interior
has large stone C18 fireplace in kitchen with chamfered surround, voussoirs
and dropped keystone. Roof has pegged king-posts. Attics have two late C18
to early C19 cast-iron fireplaces with raised baskets.
