Lodge. Probably 1860's by Devey. Ironstone plinth, half-timbered
above with whitewashed roughcast infill. Tiled roof, ornamental
bargeboards and finials, ironstone chimney. Tudor style. One storey.
Front to drive has two bays: gabled projection to left with patterned
timbering, and canted bay window with wooden casements; paired casement
to right; gabled porch in angle to centre has small wooden shield with
initials AI over modern door. Modern extension of whitewashed rough-
cast to rear. Included for stylistic and historic associations with
house.
