Almshouse, now 2 attached cottages. Dated MMS (Marcia Sheridan) 1844, over
central porch. Flint and banded stone walls and low chamfered stone plinth.
Clay tile roofs, having stone gable-copings and moulded kneelers. Stacks:
on left rear wing, right hand ridge, and right front angle, having stone
plinths and coupled polygonal brick stacks with crenellated and moulded cornices.
Main range, with cross-wings at each end. 1½ storeys. 4 bays to front.
Stone-mullion windows, hollow-chamfered and-with cross-transoms to ground floor,
lozenge leaded lights in iron casements. Doors: Golden Horn, on left hand end
wall, moulded 4-centred head and jambs, plank door with strap-hinges studded.
Porch door at centre front, same. Door at right hand end, same.
