3/13 Wall and gate piers
to E. of Churchyard

GV II

Wall and gate piers flanking entrance to site of Hillesden house:
C16-C17, brick with diaper patterning in blue headers to E.,
and brick coping. N. end rebuilt with stone coping, ramped up to
rebuilt C18 square gate piers. Piers have brick plinth, minimal
pilasters to sides and moulded stone cornices with ball finials.
Included for group value.
