Farmhouse and annexe. Mid C17. Rubble with freestone dressings and double
Roman tiled roof; ashlar stacks, paired and diagonal on west gable and south
gable of annexe. 3 storeys. 3 bays: mid C19 paired 4-pane sash windows on
ground floor; 2- and 3-light casement windows in ovolo moulded mullions and
surrounds on upper floors. Central panelled door in ogee-step-ovolo moulded
surround; C20 gabled porch. 2 storey, single bay annexe projects at the left;
coped parapet; 3-light casement window in ovolo moulded mullions and surrounds
and under dripmould and relieving arch. Interior. The ground floor (east)
right room of the main house has a fine ashlar fireplace with fluted pilasters
and a heavily moulded surround with elaborate stops; 4-centred head and leaf
carving on the spandrels; heavily moulded cornice with a projecting, corbelled
centre. Ground floor left room and first floor room of annexe have ashlar
fireplaces with 4-centred heads and an ogee-ovolo moulded surround.
