An early C19 mill and malthouse. Red brick; 3 storeys; casement windows, generally with cast iron lights. Embodying remains of the corn mill of Burton Abbey including late medieval masonry, a 2-light stone mullioned window and a doorway with blocked segmental head and heavy iron-studded door. Stone coped gabled ends; tiles. 2 fire insurance plates at 1st storey and small stone tablet
inscribed with date of rebuilding 1745.
