House. Circa 1830. Stippled and colourwashed render with smooth
plinth and plain band course. C20 pantile roof, deep boarded eaves with
gables projecting on cut brackets. Rendered chimney to left. 2 storeys
and attic, 3 bays. Outer bays have 4-pane sash windows in minimal
architrave surrounds. Centre bay has narrow sash with 4-centred arched
light in moulded frame to first floor and door with Gothic panels,
plain rectangular fanlight and chamfered surround with moulded bases,
Both openings originally had Tudor hoodmoulds. C20 single light to
attic in right gable. Small flat-roofed single storey extension to
left. Possibly built in association with original Baptist Church of
1838.
