House and attached boundary wall and gatepiers. Mid C18 with
mid C19 rear additions. Brick with colourwashed front, stone
dressings and hipped and gabled plain tile roof. Plinth, first
floor and eaves bands, dentilled eaves, 3 ridge and single
large side wall stacks. 2 storeys plus attics; 3 window range
of glazing bar sashes with segmental heads. Above, 2 low
pitched gabled dormers with Yorkshire sashes. Below, central
moulded stone doorcase with cornice, fielded 6-panel door and
overlight with Gothic glazing bars. On either side, a large
tripartite sash with segmental head. Low brick boundary wall
in front of house has ramped gabled stone coping and square
piers. Central pair of obelisk-shaped wrought iron skeleton
gatepiers with plain spiked gate. Higher return length of
wall, to left, has plain brick coping. Attached boundary walls
and gatepiers listed 09/02/73.
