Gothic Temple garden building. C18. Hexagonal on plan, the three
back walls brick, the three sides facing The Wilderness wood with
Gothic arches. Old tile roof with pineapple finial. Stone plinth.
Inside the back walls and ceiling are pastered. Round the 3 solid
sides are wooden seats with tracery supports. Frequented by the
poet William Cowper who lived at Olney and in Cowper's House, Weston
Underwood.
