Range of 3, formerly 4 cottages, Rose Cottage to left at slight
angle to remainder. Late C18-early C19. Brick, colour-washed
in end cottages. Thatch roof. 2 storeys. Irregular casements.
Rose Cottage has doors under flat glass hoods on metal brackets in
outer bays, paired leaded casements to centre and right of ground
floor, and first floor with central 2-light casement and 3-light
with central leaded pane to right. Little Thatch has central board
door under arched metal hood with scalloped edging, modern metal
casements to ground floor, and old 4-light casement to first floor
with 3 leaded panes. Post Office has central glazed and barred
door flanked by 2-light leaded casements to both floors.
