Capstan. Circa early C19. Cast iron capstan, circular-on-plan with a ribbed waist,
curved base and slightly domed cap.
The capstan was probably used in conjunction with the Cataclews fish cellars (qv)
directly to the south west and is situated at the top of the slip down into Onjohn
Cove.
