Walling with gate piers and gates. 1874 by William Burges for Lady Mary
Vyner. Gritstone laid to snecked courses, wooden gates with iron fittings.
The walls are approximately 1.2 metres high with gates on south and west
sides. The gate piers are approximately 1.5 metres high, the caps in the
form of a truncated pyramid with castellated edges. The double gates are
each divided into 2 panels infilled with diagonal boards. Ring latches and
strap hinges. Chamfered coping to wall. Included for group value.
