House, now public house. Early C16, remodelled late C17. Coursed limestone
rubble; gabled stone slate roof; brick end stacks, and lateral stack to left of
stone finished in C20 brick. 2-unit plan with cross wing. 2 storeys; 2-window
range, with gabled end to left. Timber lintel over central C20 door. Rendered
lintel over C20 windows and, on first floor, C19 three-light casement to right
and C20 sash to left. Rear wing, of similar materials, has 2-light
wood-mullioned window. Interior: Cl7 chamfered beams. Bay to left has early C16
quartered and moulded beams. Roof not inspected but likely to be of interest.
